Scrooge: The Stingiest Man in Town
Oct. 6 & 7, 2025 at 7:00 pm and Oct. 12 at 3:30 pm

The cast includes parts for all ages. If auditioning for a lead part, please come prepared to sing and supply your own accompaniment. There is a possibility of using a few small children in the town scenes provided they have a parent that is willing to be on stage with them.

Scene: London, 1843 with flashback to 1800

Narrator-carolers -a singing group
"Young" Scrooge (baritone or tenor)
"Old" Scrooge (medium voice)

Belle - Scrooge's boyhood sweetheart (soprano)
Fred - Scrooge's nephew (baritone or tenor)
Betty - Fred's wife (soprano)
 
Bob Cratchit - Scrooge's clerk (baritone or tenor)
Mrs. Cratchit - Bob's wife (any voice)
Cratchit children- Peter    Belinda       Annie
                                Billy     Martha     Tiny Tim 

Fezziwig - Scrooge's one time employer (Non-Singing part)
Mrs. Fezziwig (acting part)

Four clerks in Fezziwig's office (any voice)

Ghost of Christmas Yet-To-Come (Non-Singing part)
Ghost of Christmas-Past (Non-Singing part)
Ghost of Christmas-Present (baritone or tenor)
Ghost of Jacob Marley - Former business partner of Scrooge (baritone or bass)

Hawkins - A ragpicker ( any voice)
Three Beggars (any voice) 
Mrs. Dilber - Scrooge's cleaning woman (medium voice) 

Alice - (non-singing part) 

Susan - Betty's sister sought by Topper (Non-Singing part) 
Topper - A young, bachelor (Non-Singing part)

Organ Grinder - any voice 
Two Gentlemen (speaking parts)

Chorus of townspeople, girls, lost souls, Christmas toys, demons, sidewalk merchants, dancers


Auditions are held on Mondays & Tuesdays at 7:00 PM at The Rose Theater on the square in Forsyth, GA unless otherwise stated.
